chefs are like rockstars to me
Seriously – chefs are amazing. What they can do in a kitchen inspires awe. Can you use a chefs knife like they can? I just want to watch them cook. Sampling some of the food would be okay too, I can’t lie about that.
Our local Slow Food Chef’s dinner is coming up and I want a backstage pass. I don’t want to sit at a table and be served a fancy meal. I want to peek into the kitchen and see all the amazing work that is going on behind the scenes, get my camera and sneak back there with them.
I was thinking about doing a calendar and trading cards of our local chefs. They would feature one of their favorite recipes. Would people buy this? Do they share my obsession with hearing them talk about food and the ingredients? I want to get them on camera, not to see them cook but just talking about why they do it and why they love it. Would people watch this?
