an evening snack

Jean and I were at work the other night pretty late. This happens sometimes. It was after 9pm and the bellies were rumbling and we headed off to Finch’s. It was a slow night – Thursday I think. She ordered the calamari and I got the chartucerie plate. I must say that my appetizer was pretty amazing. There was an excellent selection of meats, some fig paste, and a mustard that rocked my world. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The calamari was excellent as well. I enjoy spending time with Jean and this is only improved by the wonderful atmosphere and service at Finch’s. Go there soon. Really, I mean it.
If you are looking for a red wine, please consider the Rioja – I think you might like it.
