lunch with Jean

Although I have been eating several times a day I have not been writing about it. I have been busy with work and projects galore. I realized just the other day that there are so many wonderful meals that I have missed out on sharing with the world.

This realization happened on Friday when I was eating the most beautiful salad at FARM that simply can not escape mention here. I try to order the specials when a restaurant offers them and this was a lovely surprise. Heirloom tomatoes, garlic greens, fresh mozzarella – it was a most satisfying and delightful break from my busy day. This was paired with a yummy soup. Chicken Florentine with dill and a just enough spice. The heirloom tomatoes are coming from Chef Daniel Orr and they have local paw paws and persimmons too.
